Best known for our flagship product, ChalkBuddy®, we combine advanced 3D printing technology with modern design to create products that are functional, durable and designed with gymnasts in mind.

Our Story
Gymatics was founded by Andrew Dickens after seeing first-hand the challenges athletes and families face within gymnastics.
What started as a single product idea quickly grew into a recognised international gymnastics brand, with Gymatics products now used by athletes, clubs and retailers across the UK, Europe, the USA and beyond.
Driven by innovation and community, Gymatics continues to expand its product range while staying true to its roots as a family-run Welsh business.

Our Team
Andrew Dickens - Founder
Bio
From an early age, I developed a strong interest in IT and business, teaching myself the skills that would later underpin much of my professional journey. Alongside this, I pursued a long and successful career in my favourite sport — Dog Agility. Over more than 20 years, I competed at a high level with my dog, Faye, gaining invaluable experience in training, performance, and competition. My passion for the sport also led me to qualify as a Kennel Club judge and trainer, roles that further enhanced my leadership, coaching, and analytical skills.
In later years, I transitioned into the logistics sector, where I spent seven years working with some of the UK’s most recognised brands as well as international companies. This period allowed me to develop a deep understanding of supply chain management, operational efficiency, and customer service excellence. I also gained first-hand experience as a self-employed owner-driver, running my own logistics operation and managing the demands of clients across the country.
The combination of these diverse experiences — from sport and coaching to logistics and business management — provided the foundation for the creation of Gymatics. Inspired by my daughter Francesca, who discovered the same love for sport that has always motivated me, I recognised an opportunity to bring innovation and fresh ideas to gymnastics and fitness. Gymatics was born out of this vision: to combine cutting-edge 3D printing technology with a passion for sport, creating unique, practical, and exciting products that empower athletes of all ages.
